Nuffie (Mrs. Cecil) Wilds Arrington, 86, of the Houston Valley Community, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at Durham Hensley Care and Rehabilitation. Jesus called another child home and she went gladly.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Arrington was a farmer and a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter: Barbara Bryant; a son and daughter-in-law: Anthony and Sherry Arrington; grandchildren: Sonya Wright, Misty Arrington, Hollie (Richie) Vaughan, Nathan (Missy) Bryant, Byron (Angel) Arrington, Rachel Bryant, Adam (Leslie) Arrington, and Jarrod Arrington; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister: Phyllis Wilds of West Columbia, South Carolina; sister-in-law: Elsie Wilds; daughter-in-law: Joyce Arrington; and a special niece, who came to visit her every Wednesday: Carolyn Wilds.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil Arrington; a son: Ivan Keith Arrington; parents: Jacob and Winnie Wilds; five brothers; and six sisters.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Durham-Hensley, Amedisys Hospice, and Margot Clements, NP.

The family will receive friends from 4pm-7pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Butch Powell and Rev. Lynn Neas officiating.

Interment will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 12:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Bryant, Byron Arrington, Adam Arrington, Jarrod Arrington, Colton Arrington, Kaleb Pitt, Jimmy Wilds, and Jackie Wilds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richie Vaughan, Parker Wilds, Dexter Wilds, and Rev. Lynn Neas.
