Trowbridge, Ill., - July 16. - Theodore H. Auffenorde, a prominent farmer residing two miles south of here, died about 11:45 o'clock Wednesday night at his home. He had been ill several weeks from hardening of the arteries.

The funeral will be conducted at 9 o'clock Friday morning from St. Patrick's church in Trowbridge, Rev. Father W. J. Crowley of Neoga officiating. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery.

Mr. Auffenorde was born Oct. 8, 1865, in Clinton county, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Auffenorde. He came with his parents to the Trowbridge vicinity when only two years old and had spent the remainder of his life here.

On March 1, 1892, he married Miss Margaret Sheehan. She died April 12, 1923.

Surviving are seven children, Henry Auffenorde of Seymour, Ky., Mrs. Elizabeth Westjohn of Montrose, Herman Auffenorde, John Auffenorde and Thomas Auffenorde of Charleston, and Miss Rena and George, at home. He also has a brother, Joseph Auffenorde, at Neoga.
