Rosary for Jewel Marie Brannon, 78, Ada, is 7 p.m. today at Criswell Funeral Home, the Rev. George Pupius officiating. Services are 10:30 a.m. , Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.

Mrs. Brannon died Oct. 30, 1997, at a local hospital. She was born December 4, 1918, at Drumright, to Joseph Arthur and Georgia Pearl Fuller LaBarge.

She moved to this area in 1933 from Borger, Texas. She attended grade school at Stroud and high school in Ada. She retired from Valley View Regional Hospital as a unit secretary.

A member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mrs. Brannon was involved with the prison ministry through the church, St. Joseph's Altar Society, honorary member of Knights of Columbus Council 5160 and Hereford Whirlers Square Dance Club.

She and Cecil James Brannon were married August 29, 1936, at Ada.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Brannon, of the home; four daughters, Joan Thompson, Carol Gonzalez, Patricia Butler, all of Ada, and Josephine Keys, Lone Grove; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Allen LeBlanc, Dennis Fine, Nick Cheper, John Hoover, Gene Greb and Paul Martin.

Honorary bearers are members of Knights of Columbus Council 5160.
