Nell R. Burleson, 85, passed away Wednesday evening October 22 at Lampstand Health and Rehab. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Nell was born January 4, 1929 in Gerall the daughter of Charlie and Hallie (Morton) Williams. She loved watching old westerns especially with John Wayne. Nell was a member of First Christian Church in Bryan/College Station. Her life was her family. She was a loving mother and we will have wonderful memories of Christmas and other holidays. Nell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wyman H. Burleson, and a son, Rance Burleson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Eileen Burleson of Bryan; sister, Charlie Fay Roberts of Houston; grandchildren, Kyle Wayne Burleson and wife Jennifer, Jason Burleson and Jennah Burleson; and three nieces.
