Woman Centenarian Dies at Fairview
"Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Putnam, well known and highly esteemed people of the Fairview community were in Hamilton shopping last Saturday. These worthy people reported to the Record representative the death in their community recently of a very remarkable character, a centenarian, and a woman who was one of the earliest settlers in the county of Hamilton. "Aunt" Susan Clover, said to be 106 years old. A son, John Clover, survives her and lives on the mountain in the Vista community. "Aunt" Susan had lived in the Fairview community some fifty years and was much loved by all her neighbors. She was said to have retained all of her senses to a remarkable degree to the time of her death. The remains were buried in the *Fairview cemetery beside other loved ones who had long gone on before."
