Victor Jr. as the family called him was the son of Vic Sr. and Mildred Mayes Braden. He had four brothers, and three sisters. One brother and one sister survive him. He is survived by his wife Melody, four children, and four grandchildren. A daughter Kelly preceded him in death. Victor left a legacy across the country as a tennis coach. At times, he owned and operated several tennis colleges in the U.S. and abroad, where he taught many of the famous tennis pros. He wrote several books on the art of teaching tennis. But to his family and extended family, he was just Victor; son, husband, dad, grandpa, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. He will be missed.

But he was just a brillant teacher of a sport he loved. Victor grew up living next to Navarre Field, Monroe, Mi. that had tennis courts, so he could practice everyday. All his brothers played tennis.

Victor's body was donated to medical science, at the University of California. A memorial for family and friends was held.

Victor was my first cousin, our father's were brothers.
