Charles J. "Sonny" Fava Passed away February 4, 2013. Charlie was born in the family home in San Francisco on April 11, 1925 and lived in Oakley the last 27 years.

Beloved husband of the late Norma Fava; loving father of Cathy "Dee" (Sam) Gregory; dearest grandfather of Joe and the late Jesse Gregory; loving brother of the late Dolores Forrest and Charlotte Salomon; also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

Charlie retired as a project supervisor for Sunstream Homes in S.F. after 35 years. A graduate of Lincoln H.S., Charlie loved gardening, landscaping and was a talented artist. Charlie was a kid at heart, a prankster with a great sense of humor. He loved his family, and was always a man of his word.

Friends may visit Tuesday, February 12th after 11:00am at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City where a Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12:30pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to your local Humane Society preferred.
