George W. "Bud Carpenter was born April 17, 1927 at Green Oak Township, Livingston County, Michigan He was one of four children. He served in the United States Navy during WW II, in the South Pacific Theater.
He is survived by Helena Barbara Day Carpenter, his wife, sons, George E. (Sandra), James (Shelly), and Sean (Janet), Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, and Cousins.
George was a very generous man, with a big heart, and endless patience. He was very active in all the boys activities, and interests, be it Scouts, Ice Hockey, Baseball, or whatever else the boys were doing. He participated in Antique car parades, and all family activities.
He was a member of the Carpenter's Union for 65 years.
He will truly be missed by all.
