GOODRICH. Timothy W. Goodrich II, 87, of Essex Meadows, husband of Katherine (Lilly) Goodrich of Essex, died Sunday (March 12) at Esex Meadows Health Center. Mr. Goodrich was born in Milwaukee, Wis., Aug. 7, 1907, son of the late William O. and Marie (Pabst) Goodrich. He was a graduate of St. Paul School, Concord, N.H., and Yale University, class of 1930. He was formerly a longtime resident of Farmington and Bloomfield. He was retired from Aetna Life and Casualty after 36 years as an assistant vice president. He was a major in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II, and served two years in England. He was active in the Hartford community having served as chairman of the Annual Campaign for the Community Chest Drive, and chairman of the Board of Trustees of Watkinson School. He was also a member of Elihu Society at Yale University, and the Hartford Golf Club, and a resident of Essex for nine years. Besides his wife, Mr. Goodrich is survived by two sons, Timothy W. Goodrich III of Burlington, Vt., and Hoyt J. Goodrich of Bloomfield; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A memorial service will take place Friay, March 31, 1995, 2 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, Bloomfield. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Contributions, in his memory, may be made to the Watkinson School, 180 Bloomfield Ave., Hartford. The Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, has charge of arrangements.
