Eleanore was born in Stock, the daughter of Stanley and Juanita (Davis) Zimmermann. She was a graduate of Lodi Academy, La Sierra University and Sonoma State University.

She taught elementary school for 45 years in Rohnert Park and Bremerton, Washington, before retiring at the age of 71.

Eleanore was a lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and served faithfully as a Sabbath School leader and Pathfinder director.

Eleanore was survived by her husband, Walter T. Rea Sr. of Patterson; son, D. Neal Boger; daughter, Beverly A. Hinrichsen; four grandchildren; and one greatgranddaughter. She was also survived by her sisters, Beverly Cortner and Betty Swanson; a stepson, Walter T. Rea Jr.; and a stepdaughter.
