Harold, 84, Ottawa, died at 7:05 a.m., at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was the son of Killian and Emma (Unterbrink) Droll. On May 20, 1967, he married Suzanne Hornstein, who survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving are three sons: Mark (Renee), Lima, and Christopher (Jenny) and Peter (Amy), both Ottawa; a daughter, Amy (Joe) Kletz, Cincinnati; and four grandchildren: Ryan Droll, Conner Droll, Evelyn Kletz and Tyler Kletz.

Deceased are six brothers: Ralph, Bud, Arthur, Jerome, Gilbert, and Virgil; and two sisters: Velma Horstman and Luella Decamp.

He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Ottawa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict during which he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, the Ottawa American Legion, Ottawa Eagles, and the Ottawa VFW.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Rev. Matt Jozefiak officiating.
