WALHALLA - Funeral services for Mrs. Bert Hunsinger Dilworth, 81, of 101 Broad St., widow of Joe V. Dilworth, who died Thursday, were held Saturday afternoon at the chapel of Davenport Funeral Home. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Dilworth died as a result of injuries received in an accident March 24 in Greenville when the car in which she was riding collided with a Greenville city garbage truck.
Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late William Hannon and Susan Margaret Alexander Hunsinger. She was a member of Walhalla First Baptist Church.
Surviving are six sons, J. B., Robert and Zeddie Dilworth of Walhalla, Cecil Dilworth of Florence, Ronnie Dilworth of Greenville and John Dilworth of Atlanta, Ga.; six daughters, Ruby Dilworth and Miss Helena Dilworth, at home, Mrs. McCurry Neville of Walhalla, Mrs. George Fowler of Westminster, Mrs. Edward Clay Hamilton of Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Bill Marett of Hartwell, Ga.; three sisters, Miss Pearl Hunsinger and Mrs. G. F. Montgomery of Walhalla and Mrs. Sloan Westmoreland of Anderson; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
