Elsie was born to the parents of Boardman LaSalle Montgomery and Margaret Townsend Montgomery on Dec 4th 1871, in Polk County, Crawford. Wisconsin.
She had seven brothers and two sisters* They had 5 sons together* Lewis Boardman: 1908 - 1999, Joseph Alford: 1911 - 1911 (Passed at birth)
Frank Joseph: 1914 - 1927, who passed when a gun placed on the floor board discharged and went off on a hunting trip and killed him. Edwin Foster 'Ed': 1917 - 2005. She married Juilus George Stolns from Moererke, Belgium on the 5th of October in the year 1907 in Boulder, Colorado when she was 15 years old. License #2608
She lived in Saratoga for a time, but after her husbands passing moved back to Colorado.
Her husband deceased her suffering a major heart attach, dying almost instantly. Elsie never remarried and lived many years longer. She passed in a nursing home in Greeley on April 5th, 1979 at the age of 87. She is buried along side her husband in Mt View Cemetery in Boulder, Colorado.
