Deborah W. "Debbie" Llewellyn, 50, of the 5300 block of Rosaer Place died Aug. 13, 2005 in her home. Mrs. Llewellyn was born in Norfolk, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Williams. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Mrs. Llewellyn was employed with the Virginia Beach School System teaching at the Adult Learning Center for 15 years, and was awarded Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Llewellyn was preceded in death by her father, William Williams and a sister, Theresa Lynch. Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Williams of Norfolk; her husband, Hank Llewellyn; four children, Ryan A. Llewellyn, Colin B. Llewellyn, Catherine C. Llewellyn and Elizabeth A. Llewellyn, all of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by a sister, Lynne Bailey of Portsmouth; a brother, Paul Williams of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach by Father Luke Policicchio. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk. There will be a Christian wake service at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, Tuesday at 7 p.m. followed by visitation until 8:30 p.m. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Thomas Alberico and his entire staff. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, VA 23513.
