George E. Ebersole, 77, died at his home in Highspire on Sunday.

Mr. Ebersole was the founder of the George E. Ebersole and Sons stone quarries firm.

He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and the Highspire Borough Council.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nora M. Ebersole; four sons, William, Earl, George E. and Guy Ebersole; and two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn M. Horner, and Mrs. Verna D. Yingst, all of Highspire; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Highspire Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in Rolling Green Cemetery.
