Published in Paradise Post from June 26 to July 25, 2013This is my dear old friend Merrilyn. We have known each other since high school. She and her husband Chuck Degisher were married in Reno NV on the very same day as my first husband Tom Peoples and I were. Best friends and neither knew the other were there. That was pretty strange to say the least...

She taught me to drive a car. She was very brave to do so as I had never driven before.

Merrilyn died of Ovarian cancer which took her very quickly. Bless her heart!
