Her husband was a coal miner most of his life and when he wasn't in the mines he was out in the field growing a crop for the winter. Bertha was a housewife all her life. She loved to go to the rolling store, loved visiting with her neighbors. She was a wonderful quilter, (even taught me how to quilt) she was especially fond of her children and grandchildren.

She passed on the 8th of May in the year of 1985 in Campbell County, Tennesee, Buried with her husband Ledford in Woodward Cemetery in Demory, Campbell County, Tennessee.

***Her father was called Otis by family and friends***

***Best mother in Law, I loved her to pieces, she was soo caring and loving, treated our children like her own***
