Born September 21, 1929, in Pacolet, SC, he was the son of the late Everette Eschole and Ida (Sawyer) Patrick.
A 1953 graduate of Clemson College, he retired as an Industrial Engineer with Reeves Brothers after 35 years of service and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Wells Patrick of the home; two daughters, Lucinda Ann Patrick Fisher and Teena Dorothea Patrick Evans, and her husband, Doug, all of Spartanburg; six grandchildren: Ann Blair Fisher, Stephen Patrick Fisher, Lucinda Frances Fisher, Mary Caitlin Johnston, Chandler Scott Johnston, and Rachel Marie Evans; and two sisters, Lucille Hogan of Pacolet, SC and Dorothy Worthy of Shelby, NC.
He was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Patrick Littlejohn.
Visitation was held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2005,at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Joe Crook.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
