Paul Miller Mundy, Sr., 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born August 9, 1916, in Lincoln County, NC, he was the son of the late James Patrick and Gussie Lee (Black) Mundy. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Hoke) Mundy.

Mr. Mundy retired as Secretary and Treasurer of the Chrysler-Plymouth Car Dealership, and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Royal Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a son, Paul Miller Mundy, Jr., and his wife, Connie B. Mundy of Tampa, FL; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Mundy Warren, and her husband, Rodney Warren, of Lincolnton, NC; four grandchildren, Matthew Warren of Cherryville, NC, Michael Warren, Pine Knoll Shores, NC, David Mundy and Karen Mundy Wilson, both of Tampa, FL; two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Mundy and Kyndal Wilson, both of Tampa, FL; and a sister, Betty Jean Hilton of Vale, NC.

Visitation was Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Burial was at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, in Hollybrook Cemetery, Lincolnton, NC.
