A native of Cowpens, he was born November 15, 1958, to Richard Calvin Dalton, Sr. of Cowpens and the late Norma Jean (Felmet) Dalton.
Employed at Magnolia Finishing with 25 years of service, he was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his father are three sisters, Jeneane Parsons and her husband John Parsons, Darlene Dalton, and Sharon Paysour and her husband Lee Paysour, all of Cowpens; three nieces, Crystal Parsons, Tina Parsons, and Charlene Paysour, all of Cowpens; and two nephews, Todd Scruggs and Austin Paysour, both of Cowpens.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Robert W. Kirby and the Rev. Ray Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Sound System Fund, 250 Mt. Olive Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
