Andrew "Andy" Douglas Carver, 60 of 1194 Davis Mill Road, passed on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 at his home. He was born in Seneca, Nov. 27, 1949 and the son of the late, Thomas "Bud" Andrew Carver. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Bagwell Carver of the home, a son, Michael "Fugi" Andrew Carver of Seneca, a daughter Kimura Jewell Carver of Japan, brothers, Tim, Tony Carver of Seneca, sisters, Judy C. Rogers of Seneca, and Annette C. Bassett of Anderson. Three grandchildren, Emi, Masaru, Lauren Nicole Carver, and One great-grandchild Tsubasa, and his mother Mamie Jewell Smith Carver of Seneca.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm Monday at Church of God of Prophecy in Central. There will be No Funeral Service at this time, there will be a graveside service with interment of the ashes held Jan. 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family request memorials be made in lieu to Church of God of Prophecy at 111 Martin St. Central, SC 29630
