Martha Lovada Williams Beggs, 90, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was born at Clear Creek on April 25, 1922, a daughter of the late Rev. John and Patsy Ann Buell Williams. She was a member of Moss Chapel Baptist Church and had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Eugene Beggs, brothers and sisters, James Williams, Kelly Williams, Woodrow Williams, Cammie Williams, Katherine Martin and Mary Ada Williams.
Survivors include her children, Teresa Ann and Ralph Baker, Earl Eugene Beggs and John Allen and Donna Beggs; grandchildren, Jennifer Goins and Randall, Shawn Christopher Beggs and Angela , Tara Marie Taylor and Joe, Michael Patrick Sullivan and Autavia, Stewart Allen Beggs; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Wilson ,Christina Goins and Kadence Taylor ; brothers and sisters, Andrew Williams, Barbara Hoskins, Avil Williams and Etta Rose Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gibson, Rev. Terrell Gibson ,and Rev. Ellis Hugh Hoskins. Music will be by the Williams Brothers.
Burial will be in the Peavley Cemetery at Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be, Chris Beggs, Stewart Beggs, Randall Goins, Mitchell Williams, James Brown, Brian Key, and Mark Williams. Honorary Pallbearer will be Michael Sullivan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday after 6 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Beggs Family.
