Doyle Edward Rochester, 86, of Westminster, SC went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 19th, 2012 at his home. He was born April 2nd, 1926 in Salem, SC to Jay D. & Ethel Hughes Rochester. He was married to the late Sarah McCarley Rochester.
Doyle was a Clemson University (A&M) graduate, class of 1950; a U.S. Navy, World War II veteran, and a retired engineer in the textile industry, as well as a farmer. He attended Bethel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse; a brother, Roy Rochester, and a sister, Gaynell Mauldin.
He is survived by sons, Doug & Carol Rochester, Chris & Janice Rochester, Danny & Judy Rochester, David & Yvette Rochester; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
